Primed Projects Debuts in New York
Announcing HLK Art Group’s new art space, Primed Projects that is opening in midtown Manhattan this November! It is a shared space for artists who are invited to create and exhibit works as an extension of their studio practice. Primed is run by Heidi Lee Komaromi, a NY-based art advisor and curator who is a deeply passionate advocate for the arts. Last year, she conducted a survey of 150 artists to understand what their main needs are and was surprised to find that most artists simply need more space to create, collaborate and show their work. “I wanted to provide a convenient and welcoming place for creativity and inspiration to happen for both artists and art collectors,” she says. Artist David Paul Kay has created a site-specific installation and started a new series of works at the space which will be featured as part of a pop-up exhibition titled MORPH with French-artist Laurent Elie Badessi. MORPH opens November 14th.
Primed is open by appointment for private viewings. Inquiries please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
